Mark ZuckerbergHe’s not building a Crisis ranch in Hawaii … claiming that reports of his 5,000-square-foot basement have debunked rumors of his Kauai home.
Waiting for your permission to load Instagram media.
Here’s the deal… by Bloomberg “The Circuit” released uncut footage from their recent episode, where Zuck tries to clear the air on last year’s WIRED report that he would have a 5,000-square-foot hideaway under his Kauai compound.
Meta CEO tells ‘The Circuit’s Emily Chang — with a straight face — that it’s, “just like a little shelter,” effectively amounting to “a basement.”
While Chang starts to get irritated by the comments, he continues, “Whatever you want to call it, hurricane shelter whatever. I think it’s blown out of proportion, like the whole ranch is some kind of doomsday shelter, which is just not true.”
Worth noting… Mark’s home in Hawaii reportedly sits on 1,400 acres — so a 5,000 square foot retreat fits right in with the size of the property and probably has plenty of ways to pass the time in the event of a zombie apocalypse!
Zuckerberg goes on to say that the Kauai property is dedicated to ranching, with the goal of creating the highest quality beef in the world … just a “really fun project.”
We’ll see Mark, we’ll see 👀.
