Happy Music Friday! The weekend is here, which means more streaming, new playlists and the best music has to offer — and ET has you covered.

The Jonas Brothers have been added as performers on the Dick Clark’s New Year’s Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2025. The brothers will kick off their 20th anniversary celebrations with a career-spanning medley from New York’s iconic Times Square, airing shortly after midnight. Joining previously announced artists Carrie Underwood, Lenny Kravitz, Alanis Morissette, Blake Shelton, Laufey, Luis Fonsi, Natasha Bedingfield, T-Pain and more.

Alicia Keys will be celebrated at the fourth annual Recording Academy Honors Presented by Black Music Collective to be held on January 30, 2025. Alicia will receive the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award celebrating musical excellence, business achievements, philanthropic efforts and profound impact on a global scale.

The Recording Academy also announced the recipients of the 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award, the Trustees Award and the Technical GRAMMY Award for Special Merit Awards Ceremony on February 1st. Frankie Beverly, The Clash, Dr. Bobby Jones, Taj Mahal, Prince, Roxanne Shante and Frankie Vallie are the recipients of the Recording Academy’s Lifetime Achievement Award. Erroll Garner, Glyn Johns and Tania Leon are the recipients of the Trustees Award. and Dr. Leo Beranek is the recipient of a Technical GRAMMY Award.

Last night, Usher wrapped the North American leg USHER: Past, Present, Future in Miami, Florida. Usher had the crowd on their feet and had surprise guests Uncle Luke, DJ Khaled and JT Money join him on stage. The North American leg has sold over 800,000 tickets, with 62 sold out shows. Usher will be heading to Europe next year, making stops in Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin and London.

Earlier this week, Big Time Rush hosted a special one-night-only experience for fans at the Total Mortgage Arena in Bridgeport, CT to celebrate the holidays. BIG RUSH ON THE ICE presented a sold-out concert and skating spectacle. One of the biggest surprises was when Carlos showed up in his famous black hockey helmet — a nod to their Nickelodeon show, this was the first time the helmet had appeared at a Big Time Rush concert.

Also this week, Spotify hosted Billions Club Live with The Weeknd in Los Angeles to celebrate his status as the artist with the most tracks to reach 1 billion+ streams on Spotify. He performed his hits for an audience of nearly 2,000 of his top Spotify fans. Lionsgate announced that The Weeknd’s first feature film, “Hurry Up Tomorrow,” will be released on May 16, 2025, in conjunction with his debut album and concert tour of the same name. The film is directed by Trey Edward Shults and stars The Weeknd, Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan.

Billie Eilish has partnered with Support+Feed and American Express to provide vital support to families and individuals in multiple cities across HIT ME HARD AND SOFT: THE TOUR. This partnership will enable small businesses to provide over 30,000 delicious and nutritious meals to community members in need in these cities.

SZA has released her highly anticipated album, SOS Deluxe: Lana, the expanded version of her critically acclaimed album DANGER SIGNAL. A music video for “Drive” starring Ben Stiller has been released. The album also features Kendrick Lamar, with whom she will be touring in 2025. SZA will also star in the upcoming film “One of Them Days” with Keke Palmer, which will be released on January 17, 2025.

Katy Perry has been released 1432the deluxe edition of her album featuring four extra tracks, including the never-before-released ‘OK’. Katy will start The Lifetimes Tour on April 23, 2025 with the first performances in Mexico City.
